As you may have noticed, the best ballroom dance shoes come with perfectly fitted dance heel protectors. 

But since they are so perfectly fitted, taking them off can be hard, if not utilizing the proper technique. To take the heel protectors off as smoothly as possible, use a knife and run it along the heel of the shoe to loosen the heel protector. 

Once it started to be peeled off, it'll be easier to take it off completely!
