All in all, this was quite a successful Nationals for the AIDA Dance USA couples and we are so proud of all the hard work and dedication that they put in day in and day out. The results truly speak for themselves. We are also happy that every single one of our dancers had a safe journey back home after an intense hurricane hit Orlando during the competition! Although some of our dancers were stranded in Florida for a few days after the storm, they showed determination and resolve to stay and compete with all the news developing.

The AIDA Dance USA team also had quite an interesting adventure getting back home from USDC. After working non-stop for 14 hours a day, the #AIDABooth had to be shutdown 2 days earlier to escape getting stuck in Florida for a week. With our plane cancelled and no way to re-book, we had to think outside the box and rented a car! We drove out Friday morning at 10 AM and after a 23 hour NON-STOP drive, we arrived safely in New York City. The traffic in Georgia was so bad, that we saw an accident every 15 miles on the road for the duration of the drive. It was mayhem and panic, but we showed resolve and drove through the day and night!

We were truly humbled by all your wishes of safety and concern. We know you guys love our shoes, but it was humbling to see that you care about us as well!
