Arismel is originally from Cuba but relocated to Spain during her childhood, while Roger was born and raised in Spain.

Both began dancing and competing at the age of 7, creating careers as ballroom professionals in Europe. They achieved top rankings in their divisions with different partners, including being finalists in the Spanish Championships and reaching the semifinals in events like Blackpool U21 and German Open RS in Latin dance competitions across Europe.

In 2012, Roger & Arismel teamed up and simultaneously joined the cast of “Dancing With The Stars Spain,” taking a break from ballroom competitions. They founded their own successful dance company, “StarDance,” and also served as dancers and team leaders at Europe's renowned theme park, “PortAventura World.” Additionally, appeared in Dua Lipa’s music video “Physical,” performed with the Chinese circus “Hiten Circus,” and participated in Spanish TV shows like “The Dancer” and “Mira Quien Baila.”

Their diverse experiences shaped them into versatile dancers in multiple styles, with a shared love for the stage, artistry, and performance.

The onset of COVID-19 brought significant changes to their lives, leading them to explore opportunities in the US ballroom industry. In May 2022, they made the leap to the United States, where they have since immersed themselves in the industry, working tirelessly.

They compete professionally in the American Rhythm Division and ShowDance/Cabaret. Their weekends are filled with travel across the country, representing Aida Dance Shoes at the most prestigious dance events nationally and abroad.

Their hard work has brought them impressive results, including being crowned 2023 Ranking NDCA Champions in Professional American Rhythm, First place at Fred Astaire World and National Rising Star, First place at Ohio Star Ball Rising Star, and earning third place in the US Mambo Championship.

Roger and Arismel aspire to become one of the leading couples in the USA, aiming to inspire fellow dancers with their ethos of fun, passion, hard work, and perseverance.
