Dmitriy Chopenko & Valeria Khrapak

Dmitriy Chopenko is originally from Russia, where his passion for dance developed from a young age. He dedicated himself to training and mastering a variety of dance styles, building the foundation for an international career in Latin dance. A major turning point came when his talent earned him a place as a finalist on the Ukrainian television show So You Think You Can Dance, bringing him significant recognition and opening new opportunities in his career. It was during this period that Dmitriy met Valeria, beginning a partnership that would take his dancing to an international level. His commitment to precision, performance, and continual improvement has remained central to his career. After relocating to the United States in 2016 with Valeria, Dmitriy continued developing as a professional dancer while establishing himself as an accomplished performer and competitor on the international stage.

Valeria Khrapak was born and raised in Ukraine, where she discovered her love of dance at a young age. She was particularly drawn to the elegance, energy, and expressive qualities of Latin dance and devoted herself to developing her technique and artistry. Her strong foundation and dedication eventually brought her into contact with Dmitriy, beginning a partnership that would become the defining chapter of her professional career. Together, they transformed their shared passion into an international competitive and performance career. Valeria relocated to the United States with Dmitriy in 2016, where they continued their training and established themselves in the American dance community. Her dancing is characterized by dedication, precision, and artistic expression, and she continues to pursue opportunities to grow as a performer. Outside of competition, Valeria remains committed to evolving her craft and creating memorable experiences for audiences.

Dmitriy and Valeria began dancing together in 2013 after meeting during Dmitriy’s time in Ukraine, and their partnership quickly developed into an international success story. Originally from Russia and Ukraine, respectively, they relocated to the United States in 2016 and have since become recognized as a leading Professional Latin couple. Their partnership combines technical precision, artistry, athleticism, and an unmistakable passion for performance. One of their greatest achievements came when they won a World Championship in Beijing, establishing themselves among the elite couples in their discipline. They have also consistently reached the finals of prestigious competitions throughout Europe and the United States. Their shared ambition is to continue pushing the boundaries of their dancing, evolve their distinctive style, and achieve even greater international recognition while captivating audiences through their performances.
