Andrey Kitsun & Alina Odintsova

Andrey Kitsun was born in Minsk, Belarus, and began dancing at the age of six. His competitive career quickly developed across multiple disciplines, and he became a 21-time National Champion of Belarus in Junior and Amateur competition, competing in Latin, Ballroom, 10-Dance, and Show Dance. The defining achievement of his amateur career came in 2016 and 2017, when he won the WDC World 10-Dance Championship twice. In May 2019, Andrey moved to the United States to begin his professional career. Later that year, he and his partner placed third at the WDC World Professional 10 Dance Championship. In 2023, he continued his success by winning both the U.S. National Professional Latin Showdance Championship and the World Professional Showdance Championship. Outside of dance, Andrey enjoys swimming, exploring new places, and discovering new styles of movement.

Alina Odintsova was born in Samara, Russia, and began dancing at the age of four. Dance was part of her life from the very beginning, as both of her parents were dance teachers. Growing up surrounded by the discipline, artistry, and dedication of her parents, Alina naturally developed a passion for the sport and eventually chose to follow in their footsteps professionally. After moving to the United States, she continued her competitive career, first as an Amateur and later as a Professional. Her training and experience across different stages of competition have given her a strong foundation from which to develop her own artistic identity. Today, Alina brings that foundation, along with her passion for performance and partnership, to her professional career with Andrey. 

Andrey and Alina began dancing together mid-season in 2025, bringing together two dancers with extensive international training and competitive experience. Based in New Jersey, they quickly established themselves as a strong new partnership in Professional Latin. Their approach is grounded in a belief that quality technique and a strong foundation are essential to creating something unique. Rather than simply following established formulas, they strive to develop their own style while maintaining respect for the fundamentals of the dance. Their shared goal is to use that foundation as a means of meaningful expression—to create performances that communicate, connect, and move people. In their first year together, they achieved major results in the Rising Star division before successfully stepping into Open Professional competition in 2026.
