Anna Oblakova and Ilya Maletin are professional dancers who teamed up into successful partnership in 2022. Their first performance was in California at the Embassy Ball and their first international experience was at the Blackpool Dance Festival 2023. Both dancers live in New Jersey and train at Rogers Dance Center.

Ilya started dancing in Russia in the city of Nizhny Tagil in 1992. Being the leading couple of a large dance club, Ilya and his partner won most of the regional competitions in children's and youth categories. After graduating from school and moving to Yekaterinburg, Ilya with a new partner started representing the Aist Dance Club of Damir and Olga Sufidyanov. Despite having a university degree in radio engineering, Ilya decided to dedicate his life to dancing, which became his profession. In 2008 Ilya moved to Canada where he later became the National Latin Champion. Representing Canada, he was a finalist in every major competition in the United States for several years.
Ilya has been wearing Aida since 2003. Aida was his sponsor throughout most of his dancing career in Canada.

Anna Oblakova discovered her passion for dancing at the age of 7 and quickly made it to the top of many Russian Championships in Junior and Youth division, winning and making it to the finals of the very prestigious competitions including over 100 couples. In 2008 she became Vice Champion of the Ukrainian Open Championship in the youth category. At the age of 18 Anna moved to the US where she continued improving on the dance field as an amateur and later as a professional making it to the finals of US National Championships, getting in the Top 3 at the prestigious competitions such as Ohio and winning many other competitions around the country. Throughout this time Anna has trained kids and adults of all ages helping them to achieve national titles in their age groups. She has been invited with her partner as part of the dance team on "Good Morning America" TV show and various commercials. In 2019 Anna became WDC World 10 dance Bronze medalist in the Professional division.

In 2022, Ilya and Anna were looking for dance partners, so they decided to make a new professional partnership together. This couple improves their level with each next competition and remains one of the most interesting on the floor.
