Artsiom Poznyakov & Daria Goryaynova
Dancing together since 2018, Artsiom and Daria are the current three time national US champions in Adult International Latin.
Originally from Belarus, Artsiom started dancing at 6 years old. Daria started her dance journey with a “little juniors ballet” class when she was 3 or 4 years old, but transitioned studios at age 5 and discovered ballroom. Being an active kid, she later tried various other sports as well; attempting figure skating and rhythmic gymnastics. At age ten, she chose to focus solely on Latin dancing, and hasn’t looked back since.
Currently, Artsiom and Daria both train and teach at Todos Dance and Fitness Studio in MA. They love to compete nationally and internationally, and consider it an honor to be able to do so. Not only the act of dancing and competing together, but also the ability share their love of Dance Sport with the world.
Outside of dance, they both love animals, although Artsiom is more of a dog person (fun fact: huskies are his favorite!) and Daria more of a cat person. While they don’t have much spare time, when they do, Daria loves reading and watching films (preferably while cuddling her cat), while Artsiom prefers to wind down by playing video games or chess.
They continue to follow their passion and dream with each time they step onto the floor together, and are always looking forward to reaching new heights.
